Back To The Bars

 

 

En mai 1978 Todd sort “Hermit Of Mink Hollow”, mais plutôt que de lancer un “Hermit” tour, il monte une tournée retrospective. Il est accompagné par les nombreux musiciens qui l'ont secondé durant les treize dernières années. Certains de ces shows, à New York, Los Angeles et Cleveland, sont enregistrés pour le double album live  “Back To The Bars”. Les invités sont les musiciens d'Utopia, Daryl Hall, John Oates, Stevie Nicks, Spencer Davis et Rick Derringer.

Command Studios, London 22nd October 1973

Parution sur le label Angel Air Records, d'un album du groupe Bedlam, intitulé "In Command 1973" enregistré live devant un public au Command Studios, à Londres, le 22 octobre 1973 en guise de promo pour les USA. Bedlam, c'était les frères Denny et Dave Ball, Frank Aiello, ainsi que le génial Cozy Powell. Un quartet de choc pour un rock dur.

Kevin Ayers - The Harvest Years 1969-1974 (5CD)

 

Compilation des 5 premiers albums de Kevin Ayers chez EMI fin avril. A la fin des années soixantes, le groupe Soft Machine tourne en première partie de l'Experience aux Etats-Unis. De retour à Londres, kevin Ayers quitte Soft Machine et se lance dans une aventure musicale en solo qui dure encore de nos jours. Jimi Hendrix lui offre une guitare Gibson J200 et Kevin compose sur cet instrument son premier album. Syd Barrett est convié à ce premier album. En plus, de ce premier opus, on retrouve les albums suivants.
